C'est peu dire que le choc est grand. Je dirais même plus, je suis complètement bouleversé. <span style="font-weight: bold;"><a href="http://futurecrayon.blogspot.com/">Broadcast</a> </span>étant tout simplement un de mes groupes de chevet, auteur d'albums magiques, malheureusement trop underground pour assoir une popularité méritée. C'est aussi et surtout un groupe et sa chanteuse très <span style="font-weight: bold;">Nico</span> dans l'attitude qui m'ont offert un des plus beaux concerts vu de ma vie. C'était il y a plus ou moins 10 ans, à la Laiterie à Strasbourg, lors des fameuses Ososphère où cette année là l'écurie <a href="http://warp.net/">Warp</a> était de passage. Alors que <span style="font-weight: bold;">Aphex Twin</span> et <span style="font-weight: bold;">Autechre</span> faisaient les autistes dans leur coin, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Broadcast</span> livrait un show qui nous plongeait dans un psychédélisme 60's, où les ambiances visuelles nourries au Super 8 et la voix d'ange de <span style="font-weight: bold;">Trish Keenan</span> faisaient se converger <span style="font-weight: bold;">"The Trip"</span> de Roger Corman &amp; <span style="font-weight: bold;">The Expoding Plastic Inevitable</span> d'Andy Warhol avec le Velvet Underground. Tel une machine à voyager dans le temps, le concert de Broadcast aidée par des vapeurs illicites devenait une expérience hypnotique, vous plongeant dans une époque que je n'ai pas pu vivre. Dès lors impossible de ne pas tomber instantanément amoureux de <span style="font-weight: bold;">Trish Keenan</span>, immobile sur scène tenant son micro d'une main et moulée dans une robe raide et blanche, avec ses cheveux noirs, coupés au carré, Nico ressuscitée, qu'elle vient de rejoindre au panthéon des déesses de la musique mortes trop jeune.</span><br /></div><span style=";font-family:arial;font-size:130%;" >De cette nuit inoubliable est sortie une relation musicale suivie ou chaque album ou maxi étaient un événement.
